SPARKS REED ARCHITECTURE & INTERIORS

Tulsa, OK

SQUARE FOOTAGE: 3,000

YEAR COMPLETED: 2015

PROJECT STATEMENT: This 2015 project transformed 3,000 square feet of largely empty Remington Tower space into a strong corporate identity statement. David Reed, Gary Sparks, and Jill Selman designed the first-floor offices for efficient use. Its entryway welcoming desk guides guests from the front conference room and main corridor to work and utility rooms, principal offices, break room, and storage. The three principals outfitted the space with numerous keepsakes from past projects, including a table made from the original Gallagher-Iba Arena basketball court, signed by several basketball heroes from Oklahoma State University’s past. Built to accommodate growth, this showcase office fit all Sparks Reed needs until damage from an August 2017 tornado forced the firm’s relocation.
