YEAR COMPLETED: 2014

PROJECT STATEMENT: We conducted an extensive two-year study of UCO’s athletic facilities, comparing them to what a successful modern athletic program requires. We divided this comprehensive program into coordinated spaces to develop several new buildings and renovate others. It included:

•    New indoor practice facility

•    New sports performance center (with the academic center)

•    Renovated baseball complex

•    Renovated softball complex

•    New tennis and soccer complex

•    Expansion onto the east side of Wantland Stadium (football)

•    Renovation of Hamilton Field House

•    New 5,000-seat basketball arena

•    New (off-campus) track complex
