"This is a new form of representation for AIA"

Reed Architecture and Interiors founder David Reed traveled to Washington D.C. this month to participate in his first meeting on AIA’s National Advisory Council. Reed will represent Oklahoma next year on this American Institute of Architects panel.

“This is a new form of representation for AIA, and I’m excited and honored to be a part of it,” said Reed, who also will serve as president of AIA Oklahoma next year. “AIA National represents architects from around the world. I look forward to being at the table as we discuss policies that affect not just our profession but hopefully positively impact our world.”

While this visit gave David little time to tour our nation’s capital, he had many opportunities to view the White House.

“That was between my hotel and the conference center, where the AIA panel met,” he explained. “I walked by it three times a day!”
