Reed Architecture’s roots were planted in 2009 when David Reed established David Reed Architects in Tulsa, OK. As an efficient, four-person operation, David Reed Architecture provided complete architectural, interior design, and construction administration services. In its first year, David Reed Architects was awarded three high school arenas for Tulsa Public Schools: Booker T. Washington, Edison Preparatory, and Memorial High School.
In 2011, David Reed Architects established a partnership with Gary Sparks and was renamed Sparks Reed Architecture. Throughout the next decade, Sparks Reed completed numerous educational, athletic, religious, and commercial facilities, with no project too small or too large for the team to tackle.
In 2020, Sparks Reed partner, the highly respected Gary Sparks, retired. Following his retirement, the firm was renamed Reed Architecture & Interiors and relocated its office to Sapulpa, OK.
Currently, Reed Architecture & Interiors has a team of 12 employees, including 8 architectural staff, 2 registered interior designers, and 2 support staff. Founding principal David Reed leads the firm as Chief Executive Officer. His sincere belief that architects should serve by design their communities forms the foundation of Reed’s architectural practice and philosophy.
